How do I send a Private Message?
To send a private message or PM, click on the person's name. It will take you to their profile, then click on their name in their profile to send a PM. Alternatively, you can go to your User CP (top of screen next to your name), and in there click Send PM. To receive a PM, you will get a popup window appear when you have an incoming PM. You will need to have popups enabled on your browser. If you do not want this function you can disable it in your CP by going to Edit settings, and tick the box no PM notification. To view PM's go to User CP, then click PM inbox.
How do I add a Profile Picture?
If you would like to get an Avatar (a pic under your name), then click on USER CP, click EDIT SETTINGS, then type in the personal picture URL.And away you go.
Another option is to use your own personal pic. If you have one and don't have User hosting, then just ask us to host it for you and we'll give you the URL.
How do I use the Whisper Option?
The whisper option is for anyone who wishes to say something privately in their post to another member. Important:- You must make sure you type in the username correctly, as in if the member name is Hansel081, then type in Hansel081. If you type in Hansel, or hansel or hansel081, the message will be viewable by everybody else and will not be private. Also, you need to make sure after you type the name in, that your message is typed in between the whisper brackets. You can tell if it works as it will say on top of the whisper - Whisper to Hansel081. To use the whisper option, click Whisper in the reply screen, and if you make a mistake, you can always go back and edit. I would suggest you tick preview before you submit your post if you are using your whisper option. Have fun!
How do I change Moods? What is the difference between Mood Now and Post Mood?
To apply a mood for yourself, click on the screen: bottom right where it says Your current mood, scroll through the dropdown menu when it appears and click the one that you want.
In your posts, it will show Post Mood and Mood Now. Post mood always stays the same as when you posted, whereas current mood/mood now changes to whatever you want at the time. When you reply to a post, using that mood, it will stay on the post. Mood now, is the latest one you have chosen.
How do I get a Personal Icon?
To get one, click on User CP next to your name up the top, click on Avatar gallery, click on personal icons in the list. The click copy URL, go back to User CP, go to Edit settings, and paste into personal icon URL.
